 I don't get it.We're modest people. We don' flaunt what we've got, especially when its nothing compared to others. But last night,(on my birthday) our snowblower some toys (new and old) etc dissappeared from our truck car and yard. Why would such things happenon such a holy season?
I'm so sorry this happened. That really sucks. Sadly it is this time of year when things like this happen the most. Just think... someone is going to have a nice new snowblower under their tree, some nice new toys too.
yeah, great.I hink it migt be my fault.I freecycle. The neighbors probably thought I left that stuff for them. Noone saw anything yet
Sorry that happened to you. It doesn't matter when it happens, the sting is always intense when you have to replace things that someone has stolen. We were in the city in Sept and someone broke into our Suburban and stole all my asthma RX's, including my nebulizer that I still owed money on and my ds' new $300.00 digital camera. I had to replace the medication and it cost us over $700.00 which was in addition to what we had originally paid for the rx's that I had just refilled for three months! It's a terrible violation! (((( ))))
I'm really sorry to hear that. Even if you free cycle it's not your fault and some people are just low individuals.
I am sorry this happened. So many years ago my parents were about to pull into their driveway, after Christmas and grocery shopping, when they were t-bones by a drunk driver. My dad called my brother from the hospital and told him to try and get the car into the yard and put the groceries away if they were still in tact. When my brother got to the car, somebody stole all the gifts and food, which totaled many hundreds of dollars. My parents didn't give gifts this year but the best gift was to know they made it through the crash. Still, it boggles my mind that people can have such little charater that they can steal from a wrecked car.
I don't think that freecycle has anything at all to do with it. It's just crappy people that do these things. I know when you are a victim it's very easy to try to self blame.. but really it's not your fault at all. Just try to keep your heads high and enjoy this Christmas!!
I am so sorry it's a shame there has to be some people out there to mess up something all the time. I hope you all Had a Merry Christmas.
I'm sorry that happened. I don't know why people do things like that. This year on Christmas eve a package was delivered to one of my neighbors and before she got home it was stolen....the package contained all of her children's Christmas Presents....and over 700.00 in gift cards and a check for her rent for January...I felt so bad that I went out and spent my last 35.00 to buy her children a few gifts.
Im sorry that happened to you.Sometimes people are just plain mean.I hope you were able to have a merry Christmas anyway.
