I love that one! I don't think I will show it to the kids. It almost convinced me that Pa and Ma were right!
A friend of mine just sent me to TeacherTube...and I thought it was awesome! So I searched to see if anyone had mentioned it, and of course, Jennifer already had! But with so many of us planning to restart in January, and so many newbies here, I thought it was worth a bump up to the top of this board.
I have a good comment about TeacherTube. I was on there last year. It was either a holiday like MLK day or a Saturday, but anyway, there was a Google Ad on there for an adult fiction book. It wasn't a terrible picture, but it was objectionable to me because there was a topless woman (turned away from the camera so you couldn't see anything) then a dragon or something in the background. Anyway, just something that might scare a little kid, and maybe get undue attention from a teen boy. I sent an email to them about it, and didn't expect to hear back until the next business day if at all. They emailed me within the hour, thanking me for calling their attention to it, and telling me what to do if I saw something like that again. (Copy the picture and send it in an email to them.) I have never seen another ad like that on their site though, so hopefully Google got it fixed. But anyway, left me with a positive impression!
