Our daughter works at Rent A Center in the loan department. Handsome called her because our fridge is making some strange noises. So we wanted to find out about prices because we do not want to rent to own. She said that they have a warehouse that has sooooo many appliances and then some. Since the economy is bad, many, many people have to return what they are renting. Anyways, she said that we can purchase a like new fridge for as low as $80.00. The warehouses are loaded with return items and the stores are trying to get rid of them. She said that most look like they are still new. Some have a dent or two. Anyways, I thought I would spread the word. I know some of you are looking for washers, driers, or maybe a fridge. I do not know if all Rent A Center stores have an excessive amount of returns. But it is worth looking into. She said ask to see what they have in their warehouse and not on the floor. The items in the floor cost more and the items in the warehouse have to be paid off right away. Payments are not allowed on them since they just want to get them out of inventory.

Wow, I wish I had known that before buying my washer. That's okay I really like the new wash machine and dryer, but I will keep that in mind in case something else goes or if a friend is looking. Thanks!
