If you haven't had the news on there has been an emergency plane landing in the Hudson River. They think everyone got off safely. Praying they are all safe. Beth
They think there were 151 people on board and they hit some birds. So scary. The jet was on the way to NC. The news people are talking to some of the people who were on board and they keep saying everyone is okay. Praying they are right.
Beth, I just read it and everyone is safe, OK??? Not sure. I know I wouldn't be ok if that happened to me. I'm a big sissy
They are saying everyone is alive. Some were hurt and of course cold and shaken up, but no one was killed. There were over 160 on the jet. Praise God everyone survived.
I just saw this on the today show and how incredible. God was definately watching out for these people. What an amazing crew! They did everything correct and saved everyone. Also such quick responses to the boats nearby. It is so refreshing to see response time done so well and having such a happy ending.
It has been so amazing to see all the pictures. The one of the plane in the water with people sitting on the wings was really something. I saw the lady on the Today show who was sitting with her baby boy. Her husband and daughter were in a different row. The man next to her told her they would be okay. Then he helped hold her son as they crashed. What a story they have to tell that little guy when he gets older.
I'll be flying on Us Airways in less than 2 weeks!! I'm really nervous now!!! I'll be flying from Chicago to San Diego. My 18yo brother is graduating from the Marine Corps!!! Out of 500+ marines he is #1 I'm so proud of him.
