Do we really need the BJU Writing & Grammar Grade 8th grade Teacher Edition (3rd Edition)? Can we use only the Student Workbook, the test, and the Answer Keys?

I found that I was super glad I did have the Teacher Edition-I sure didn't want to try to figure out all those correct answers! I have mine for sale since we just finished it. It is the 2nd edition, though-don't know how different they would be. There are two Teacher's Books. If interested, please email me at clarynda@live.com for info. Price is $25-that includes shipping.

Sorry! I just re-read your post and saw where you had the answer keys. I think that would be all you needed. I ddn't use the TE for anything except the answers,

Depends on your confidence in the lessons.
I am strong in grammar and witting, however, I have found that with 2nd and third grades BJU PRESS, I was glad I had the TE because they explain better where they are going with the lessons and have more flesh to the lesson plans than just filling in blanks.

    That's just my experience.

No, I have not purchased the curriculum yet. I don't want to purchase the Teacher Edition, and find out later that I only needed the Student book, the test and the answer key.

See the links. Then click on picture to see a sample of pages in the book.

I am with you, I don't think you need the teacher edition , just the test and answers, thats what I will do if I get it, I got the teacher answer guide etc last year did not use much of it,
This year he is doing Eng 6 with out either! WE just go over the work to see if he got it right, the instructions are pretty basic... from the looks of the student bok 8 it tells you what to do, what verything is right there... so?
The teacher book looks like its copy of the kids plus info... I wonder if CLP has the black and white version ?
