The twins are completely taken over by ants...
Digging them up, trying to make them go here or there.
    Getting bit by them, etc....

So I searched my computer files and all my bookmarks for anything about ants.....

Guess what is the ONE thing I cannot find?

    Yup!

    An Ants Lapbook..

    UURRGHH!

    Any help ou there?
    Thanks :)

I want to do the glowing ant farm - it just looks cool. The one with the gel instead of sand and I guess the gel is a food substance... no idea - but it looks really cool with the light under it :)

    S'ok.
We're kind of used to it..
Which is what gets them so interested in them.
Ants are so prevalent here that they make their way to the second story of the house to dig through dirty clothes.. ick!

The only other place where ants were more prevalent was when I liven in Florida. Whoooo Ants everywhere!

It is weird. They are everywhere

And then, to top it off, Last year we had an invasion of those so-called "Crazy Ants" the ones that are really small and swarm your home electronics! AAHHH!!

Luckily, they decided that they did not like us and left, for some reason, leaving our wiring system in tact. Whew!

I can't do it right now but you should look up ant lions, the things that eat them. My kids love them. they spend hours during the summer catching ants and feeding them tothe lions.

OUr ants are protien ants, they like meat, cheeze eggs, even chips!
They are not into sugar however!
We like them better than termites so they are the lesser evil... you know if you have a lot of ants that you do not have termites? They battle one another.

I dont joke when I say we live on an ant hill , it is for real
ever read Lenegin and the Ants? Great book!

    Oh My!

    My twins are SOLD..

First, the term AntLion is just too coool..

Then throw in THIS little known (To us) fact:

The antlion has a Pokémon modeled after it, Trapinch

    Hook Line and sinker!
They love Pokemon, so they are sooo into this.

    Thanks guys!
