Does anyone have a Samantha American girl doll that they would be willing to part with? My daughter Samantha wants one but it appears that they are no longer making her. She doesn't care if it's used or not at this point. We currently have our Generation girl dolls but I wanted to get her the real thing for her birthday and now the one she wants they don't have. I am willing to send it off to have it cleaned and hair redone if needed. Please PM me if you do!!! Thanks for your help!!!

If you can't find one, you might want to just get a "Just Like Me" doll that looks like Samantha http://store.americangirl.com/agsho...P/webTemplateId/3/uniqueId/86/saleGroupId/127 and then just get some Samantha books and clothes. I know it's not the same thing (my dd *LOVES* AG), but it might be good enough.
my samantha has wanted one really bad too....... but she gave up saving for that much money and settled for a my generation doll ........ then didn't play with it.
There is also a seconds store in Wisconsin I think. It sells discontinued items as well as irregulars and things that were created then not widely released. The people on AG playthings post about the store from time to time.
I got lucky this past Christmas. My Samantha wanted a Samantha doll. She already has a Just Like Me doll she got for her birthday. She looked online and told me they were going to be discontinued and go into the archives. I ordered it just in the nick of time too. I ordered it in November and it said it would be shipped by Dec 17th. I was hoping it would be here for xmas. A week later I looked at their site again andthey were backordered until May 31st 2009!! So for Christmas Santa brought Samantha a Samantha doll and Grace a Just Like Me doll.
I found one on ebay for $150 with free shipping so I ordered it. It should be here next week. Thanks to the ebay suggestor. I was forget that it exists!!!
