Okay, yesterday it was in the low 70's, today has been around 60 with rain all day with crazy microburst thunder going on but here is the craziest part - tomorrow they are predicting snow!!! We live in the central part of the state and may get up to 5 inches. The upstate may get up to a foot! By next weekend we are supposed to be back up to 70. At least March is coming in like a lion and getting it over with!
i agree jen, ours is freezing cold one minute and warm and mild the next, we live in IL, and we have had a little of everything the last 2 weeks, and from the looks of the next weeks forcast we are going to have another rollercoaster, but at least its heading back uphill, lol, yay!
We are in the same boat Jennifer and you know how much I hate winter weather! Stay warm, it has to turn Spring some time. Right?
It's March..."In like a lion, out like a lamb!" Ohio weather is always crazy this time of year. And I've not noticed my crocuses peeking out quite yet; usually I notice them before February is gone. I'll look again today!
Awhile back my mom asked me if I remembered the snow storm that killed the lilacs (back in the 70's) in May! I was old enough to remember how bad the storm was but didn't realize it was almost Memorial Day! The summers get horrid down here but I don't miss the looonnnnggg winters.
We have been in the 80s. I just heard that we are expecting a possible snow storm. This is odd for us because usually our freezing weather is over with by the time we hit March.
It was 91 yesterday here and today it was 84 to hot to soon.. came in like a lamb here. Hot, dry and alot of fires going on here. Send us rain Ladies
Yesterday we were near 90 and today we are supposed to be over 90. Which is very weird for this time of year. We are being told to avoid going outside if we can because of the heat and are under a severe weather advisory.
We had about 65 yesterday and after a cold and hard winter, that is like summer to us. We had 30 below this winter. My guys took advantage of the wonderful weather and raked our yard, it looks fab!
After numerous cancellations we didn't get anything!!! The upstate got hit hard but we didn't see even flurries. I'm looking forward to the 70's at the end of the week. Today is only going to be in the 40's all day. I'm ready for spring!
We didn't receive anything either.:? The day has been cloudy but no rain or snow. In fact, the temps didn't even drop enough to cause a chill.
Hey Jennifer I live in Pickens in the upstate. We got 3 inches. Oconee and Pickens didn't get hit as hard a Greenville and going east. To be honest it is just about melted. It was beautiful coming down. I am sorry to the ones who don't like snow but I LOVE IT!!!
I had really been looking forward to it! There is alot of complaining from parents of ps kids because of the "snow day". It is still really cold today but I'm not complaining - my sis in NY said they were supposed to be -12 last night! We only hit 20 above.
