We pay $4.40 for two gallons all the time here.
I've frozen milk before and it just doesn't taste the same after it thaws. My kids will drink powdered milk before they drink previously frozen milk.

I'm in the DFW area and our milk is $1.99/gal with no limit. We also go through a lot of milk here so it was very exciting for me. :)

WOW!! $1.99 a gallon is GREAT! I wish it were that cheap here. It's $3.99-$4.69 a gallon depending on where you buy it from. I don't know anything about "raw" milk, but I was offered free milk if I wanted to come get it. Hubby said NO WAY! So We're still paying $$$$ for the milk..

I bought Gandy's brand milk for $2 a gallon today!! I have not found milk this cheap in several years! I was so excited that I bought 5 gallons. We'll go through it all too. My kids LOVE milk and so does hubby.

Our milk prices range from $2.59-$3.00 most the time. I freeze 2% milk all the time. The trick is to let it thaw completely & keep shaking it. Each time you go to use it I always shake the carton & as long as I do that I have never had any issues of it not tasting good & the kids all drink it.

I bought milk last week for $1.99 again!!! I bought another 6 gallons and froze it. The kids haven't noticed the difference. Everything else is going up, but the milk is going down. The farmers aren't real happy about it, but I am.

thats what we have been getting it for about 2 dollars for a few weeks now I used to freeze it a lot when we lived in WA- I would let it thaw half way on the counter and then finish in the fridge, but we can't do that here its just too hot and our fridge for some reason wont let it thaw compleetly
