Has anyone home schooled their children with Christian Light Publication's curriculum? What are CLP's Pros and Cons?

I considered them, but heard they are ahead of others. This is not bad if you start with them, but might be a problem (in Math) if you switch later. I did buy their readers though!

Right now I'm trying Science and Social Studies 201 with my youngest and I'm really impressed with the layout (and the price). I haven't looked at the older levels yet but if you join the yahoo group there is a good section of previews in the photos section.

We are settled for now with Math U See but I'm finding the boys need more structure in other subjects and I really want to use more of this curriculum. I just got the Christian Light Educators new catalog and am just itching to order new stuff.

Thanks for responding. I ordered their catalog. I can't wait to get it. I just wish CLE's website would show samples of the "inside" of their workbooks.

I was told that their math is similar to Saxon math. [CLE] you don't have to copy the problems like you do with Saxon. They also explain the math problems better than Saxon.

Let me know how you like it if you decide to order! Good luck on your decision... it looks like a great program! I just didn't want my kids to be behind in math, but that may not even be the case! I only read that someone thought they were advanced in math... who knows how accurate that is.
