I have a 9 year old, 6 year old, 3 year old, and 22 month old. I have never known anything but homeschooling as a parent although I went to public school as child. My mother basically homeschooled me although I officially went to public school. I just feel I learned more from her and Public School was a waste of time so I fell quite naturally into homeschooling. It should be interesting to get to know you if I have the time.
Where in Alaska? I spent a summer in Cordova, the summer before the Exxon Valdez, so it was a while ago. Absolutely loved it there!!!
Right now I'm in Eagle River (the Anchorage area). In the past I have lived in Kenai, Fairbanks, Palmer, and Chicken. I have heard Cordova is very pretty. Haven't been there yet.

Welcome! Alaska is on my list of places to visit one day too. My grandparents lived in Anchorage for about 20 years, but I never got to visit them while they were there (we lived in Florida - I guess my parents thought it was too far.) Best wishes!
Wow, we have lots of friends in Eagle River. We spent the summer two years ago there and last summer in Kenai. We plan to head back there May 11th. We attend Peters Creek Baptist Church when we are there. Welcome! Who knows, maybe we will meet sometime.
