    Do any of you have a tried and true chocolate cookie recipe?
    I had a wonderful recipe that called for Hershey's Cocoa and can't find it.

    MMMMM....just amde them today.

    1 Box (18.5-18.9 oz) Chocolate Cake Mix
    2 Eggs
    1/3 Cup Oil

    Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

    Mix cake mix, oil and eggs together until well mixed (I use my Kitchen Aid on low until it's a dark brown mixed lump!)

    Scoop out 1" balls and place 2" apart on cookie sheet.

    Smash cookies to 1/4" with a flat bottom glass that is dipped in sugar. (this flattens the cookie AND puts a little bit of sugar on the top).

    Bake for 6-8 minutes until look "done".

    Allow to cool 1 minute on the cookie sheet, then remove to cooling rack.

    These are YUMMY. Even better with a scoop of vanilla ice cream scooped between two of them. Then dip in mini chocolate chips around the outside.

    Closest taste I can say is Archway Dutch Cocoa cookies if you use a Devils food Cake mix.

    Vanilla cookies with whatever frosting

    Vanilla with coconut, macadamias and white chocolate chips. mmmm SO GOOD!!!

    Chocolate.

    Chocolate with any kind of chip (choc, pb, white, etc.)

    I've made with the strawberry cake mix before too

    Cake mix cookies

    I know the recipe was already posted on here, but just had to add that we make these all the time!!!! YUMMMMM! However, we don't flatten them as we put them on the cookie sheet. We just roll them in balls, bake them, and dust them with powdered sugar. We mostly use the Devil's Food flavor, but have tried strawberry and lemon, too. Devil's food is, by far, the best in our opinion.

    Here's a recipe I just discovered that tastes just like the triple chocolate cookies walnut they sell at Panera. They are my new favorite!

    Ingredients

    *1 (23 2/3 ounce) package brownie mix
    * 2 large eggs
    * 1/3 cup vegetable oil
    * half a bag of white chocolate morsels
    * 1 (6 ounce) package semisweet chocolate morsels
    * 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

    Mix all ingredients and bake at 350 for about 11 minutes.

    One of my favorite variations of the cake mix cookie recipe is to use spice cake mix (I use a melted stick of butter instead of the oil) and roll them in powdered sugar, both before baking and after they've cooled.

    They remind me of chewy pfefferneuse (sp?) but the spice isn't quite as strong.

    YUM!
