    I just signed up.

I listed at least 25 books, I think! LOL :D

I got two that I needed for next years schooling.

    I really hope this works!

Krista, if I lived closer to the post office, I would use it! My sis loves it and one neat feature is she can request books for me or our mom and then have them sent to our address and not hers. I haven't heard her complain yet!

Love it! I just print the labels and pay for postage on the computer and mail it from the house. I have yet to step foot in a post office.

I have used it a few times. I like it. I just wish the books that I posted were moving faster!! They had writing strands on there and I don't have any credits UGH! Don't want to buy any either. I'd rather swap straight across.

I use it a lot. Never had a problem on either sending or receiving. I send right from home, it allows you to print postage right there. If you get really desperate for a book or fid one you can't pass up and don't have any credits left, tehy are only $3 I think, so not bad for somethign that might cost $$10+ used/new.

I have seen so many of you talk about Paperback Swap.

I want to sign up, but I want to make sure I'm singing up at the right place.

Is this the site you all use?

Yes...I did notice you could buy credits for $3.45 each. That's actually kind of neat. I mean, even if you found the book on Amazon for a .01, you'd still have $3.99 shipping to pay, so you still save. (that means, Mommix3....you can get Writing strands for $3.45....buy a credit!!) :D

I'm waiting a few weeks. I think if I keep 2 or 3 crs in my account, I'll be good.

    :)

And, yes, Marcia, that's the one!

We use it, I buy book credits when I don't have any. When I swap books, I print off the postage labels on my computer and mail them out from home.

I just ordered 8 books recently. That is for me this summer until I can get some book credits or buy some.

I have been using the site for years! You can go over to their forums and the Book Bazaar forum and buy credits from anywhere from 2.75 -2.90.
I got writing strands from them plus a lot of other books. If there is a book you want, don't forget to put it on your wishlist. You will get an email when it comes available.
It is a fabulous site with friendly people!

I LOOOVE PaperBack Swap...I am addicted! I do like the PP's and just buy credits if I really want the book. Has anyone tried their sister companies? The ones for DVD's or CD's? I wonder if they have educational DVD's listed? I would love to trade some of the junk DVD's we have for something better!!

I, too, am addicted to PBS- have swapped for years and just recently tried the DVD swap - I inherited some DVDs from my mom. the thing about PBS is even if you don't think someone will want the book - post it anyway. You just never know what people will want.

They also have a great Homeschooling discussion board where you can swap "unpostables" and make great deals with other homeschoolers.
