Hi, my name is shelby. I am new the this form and not so new to homeschooling. This will me my 2nd year homeschooling my girls, one in 7th this year and the other in 3rd. Last year we started out great, but things happened and we ended not so great. My husband and I pastor a church and had meeting to go to and my girls were off days because of it. It just got worst from there. I am praying that this year will be better and we can stay on track. I am worried about it though. So any ideas on how to stay on track this upcoming year would be of help. thanks to all , hope to get great ideas from all of you

When we have to be away from home, we take the work with us, or to where ever the girls are staying. My youngest daughter, is useing CLASS this year where she will be sending her tests and some other things. This is to keep her and me on track, at least that is the plan. My youngest is starting 9th grade this year...

    Welcome!

I have found that many times when I feel we were less productive we were actually going through necessary pauses in the children's development. The main thing I love about h/s'ing is the ability to learn at their own pace. I believe that if you take every opportunity to teach and trust in the Lord to be your guide, He will do what you could never have imagined!!

    Hi Shelby,
I am new to this forum too. I just wanted to suggest reading the book "Help for the Harried Homeschooler". I think you would like it. I suggest this book to every homeschooler.
