I am having a procedure done tomorrow and I am just so nervous. I haven't been sedated since I was 17 and had my wisdom teeth taken out. I had epiderals done with my kids but hated those. I am getting a scope down my throat and am just plain scared. I don't want them to find something but hubby wants them to find something. It be nice what this pain is that I have had for the past year. So to Dr. number one, no it isn't just ovarian cysts. Yes I have them but they pop this little spot isn't popping or going away. Thankfully the kids get to go to friends houses and not have to be stuck at the hospital for a hour or so waiting on me. Hubby wanted them to come with us because we are family but I am like they are 4,5 and 9. I don't see them waitign happily at the hospital besides the girls are visiting with friends that are leaving in a month to a new state. They are the last of our 'friends' in the area. SO anyways back on to my little soapbox, praying for some nerves and calmnesss. I hope to fall asleep and no pay attention to a long tube down my throat and thankful it's not going the other way.
I am sorry you have to go through this. I prayed for you just before typing this post. I have to pray as I read these or I am ashamed to say I may forget.
I'm praying too! My mom always wants me there when she has these procedures! Funny! So I try to go when I can. Let us know how your procedure goes and how you're doing! Here are some (((((HUGS))))) for you too!
I will be praying. I had to have the scope a few years ago and I don't remember a thing. I slept through it all. Oh and I had to have the colonoscopy later on and I slept through that one too.
I ran across this again and just prayed that you would sleep well and your procedure would go quickly and painlessly.
I slept thru it. Never saw the Dr. afterwards, the clinic was closed up and I was the last patient. I have sores from heartburn? So I am to take Nexium, spelled right? Never been on it and don't know if I am suppose to take it for a month or two weeks or anything. I have no followup. My side hurts more now than before the test. They are testing to see if I have a gluten issue. Not good for me because I love my breads, I love to bake. Anyhoo going back to bed because it hurts just to sit up.
I hope you feel better soon. It doesn't sound serious from what you said so I am happy about that. I hear of gluten problems more and more. There are many ways to eat baked goods without the gluten. I think Krista...geesh..I forget her username on here..LOL...I think she knows about this.
