The word "bored", not in our dictionary. My kids used that once and I told them they had some choices: Go on Doo Doo Duty Paint the trim on the house or read
Amen, Katie! I cannot remember now who said this but there is a quote stating that being bored is an insult to oneself. It is so true. I am never bored alone!
All I have to do is say, "do you want me to find something for you to do?" and poof! they vanish into thin air.
I tell Ems that bored people are boring people because they need to be entertained. So if she needs something to do, I will give her something to do and she isn't allowed to complain about it. Now this doesn't happen very often but once in a while I will say that I am bored. Well this is when my words come back to bite me. LOL Still, they are true so I find something to do.:?
Haha, my housemate's nephew was over the other day and kept being terribly bored, so I found a "Little Book of Rocks and Minerals" that his mum had packed with him and we investigated every stone surface in the house and identified them all. I've never had that much fun staring at my kitchen floor ;p
