What exactly do you mean when you say beef "mince"?

    Italian Beef for Sandwiches

    1 Beef Roast
    8-10 Sub rolls
1 packet dry Italian salad dressing mix
    3 cups water
    3 beef bouilon cubes
1 teaspoon each of: -- all herbs are dry
    garlic powder
    onion powder
    salt
    basil
    oregano
    1 Tablespoon each:
    parsley flakes
    Italian seasononing
    1/4 teaspoon each:
    pepper
    red pepper flake

In a saucepot bring everything but the buns and beef to a boil, boil for 1 minute.
Place beef in crockpot and pour over liquid with seasonings and dressing mix.
When beef is tender shred with 2 forks. Pour Juices in small bowls. Place a hearty portion into warmed, split rolls (I take out a bit of the bread from center of roll) ----in Chicago they would top sandwich with a pepperchini pepper. Serve beef juice on the side for dipping.

my husband is not partial to the "soggy" ness of the sandwich so I really drain the beef beofre I put it on his roll with --- I kind of make his into a cheese steak sandwich.

    This extract from Wikipedia:

Beef mince, ground beef or hamburger meat (in North America), or mince(d) meat (in the rest of the English speaking world) is a ground meat product, made of beef finely chopped by a meat grinder. It is used in many recipes including hamburgers and cottage pie.

We are flexitarians and so we don't eat meat that often. Most everything we eat is LOVED by our friends and neghbors who are serious carnivors. :)

    we like:
#1 meal around here is Lentil tacos
Waffles/Pancakes with scrambled eggs and toast (yes for dinner)
    black bean soup
    chili and cornbread
    baked potatoes with the fixings
    fruit salad and pasta
    Curry fried rice
    Red curry and chicken
    couscous with veggies
    eggrolls and chow mein
