Ok -here's the thing with us this year. Neither kid is sharing materials. Jacob is enrolled in Seton (a Catholic homeschool) and Alexis is just using their books but not enrolled. We TRIED to share books and subjects but it never worked for us. For stuff that doesn't have a book or something like that, I just put in an index card with a sticky note on it with instructions. Jacob is the only one with an online lecture this year though I might enroll Alexis in an online greek alphabet class. For lesson plans - it took me 2 years but now I LOVE Homeschool Tracker! It keeps everything so easy to read - for the kids and for me.
You may not feel like you're organized, but I STILL have no clue how to do that, even with your pictures! For Alexis and learning the Greek alphabet, have you checked out Hey Andrew...? It has workbook type levels, but for just learning the alphabet, I'd go with something like this, rather than paying for an on-line class. That's just me, of course, but I'll give you the link, just so you can peruse it. They have Latin and Greek. It's written by a homeschool mom and she's very sweet and very helpful, answers e-mails/questions quickly. My ds's did the Latin when they were in 2nd and 5th grades, then ds15 did 4 levels of the Greek books over a couple of years. www.greeknstuff.com
It's only like $10 for the online class..... But we may do the "andrew...." series.... not sure yet. Alexis likes workbooks - but most of her subjects right now are workbooks and so I wanted to expand from that.
This looks really good.... I'm a newbie...can someone explain how the workbox system works? I'm in the process of looking through older posts, but I'm not sure how far back it is. Thanks! Lynn
