Went awesome. The girls are so happy to be home now. I asked them the other day "are you sure you don't miss PS and they both looked at me like I was an alien." LOL...They have always been well mannered and help most of the time but only IF I asked or told them to do something well the last week they have been doing stuff on their own and cleaning up after not only themselves but the family as well....their attitudes are awesome, they were pretty good before but like last year when they went to school they would come home all down or just not themselves. This is a great decision we made and my hubby is totally for it and can see the changes in them and commented that we probably did more in a week than they would have in PS in a month. sorry to go on and on I'm just proud and I am not near as overwhelmed and nervous as I was.. yeah!
Yay!! I love hearing positive stuff about how the kids are responding to learning at home. We noticed something like that when we brought ds home for fifth grade -- uh, 17 years ago??? Happy Homeschooling!!!
That's great!! We're officially starting on Monday and this will be our first year as well. I'm hoping it goes that well for us too!
