trouble at the literactive site? (weird message on a webpage) I recommended the literactive webpage to someone and when I went to check it out, I got this message: Reported Attack Site! This web site at literactive (dot) com has been reported as an attack site. I haven't been there in a while (mine have grown tired of it) but I thought it was a good resource, does anyone know what happened to it?
the same thing happened to me. My computer prompted me to do a virus scan immediately. I thought it was just my computer.
There's some good info on why this message pops up, here on the Firefox support and here from Google support. The Firefox page tells you how to remove the security that alerts you to these sites, if you want to do that.
Thanks! I know that we've used literactive before, but I don't want to disable that if there is a problem there now. I just mainly wondered if other people who are using that site was having the same issue. Like I said, my girls have outgrown it.
I have had this happen before. I am not that computer savy (when it comes to this kind of stuff) but if I am correct isn't that when a site gets hacked or has a virus that is known to invade your computer?
