Sounds like you go for the school-at-home approach, which is fine if it works for your family, and it sounds like it does.

I'd be more like an unschooling approach with a preschooler -- lots of play, but bring in things like counting, sounds, color, shape, matching, rhymes, into the playing, with just a letter/number/coloring sheet occasionally. With a huge helping of read-alouds!!! You might be amazed at the things a preschooler can learn, just while doing your daily "stuff" like laundry and cooking and pick-up-and-put-away... Actually, you can teach all of preschool, kindy, and most of first grade just by doing your daily "stuff" and playing and reading aloud, and throw in a little Sesame Street and Between the Lions and such here and there, and a worksheet here and there for the first grader...

ANY schedule that works for your household is going to be great, and a lot of learning will take place! Have fun!

I like a schedule! I think you will appreciate the fact you have a schedule when you have more than 1 to school, or when other demands kick in.

Sounds like way more structure than I would ever do... even with my 10yo 5th grader, but if it works for you then it sounds fantastic.

For my littles, we are pretty much unschooling. They ask to "do school" so we will pull out workbooks when they ask and they can choose what they are going to do. I limit that time to 30 minutes on any given day. I feel at such young ages they learn best by just being kids.

It sounds like pre K to me, though a little more than I woudl fit in, cause we were half day schooling and then lunch and nap and then they played and did crafts in the after noon.... Considering the number and letter pages will no doubt vary it should be easy, did you look at the Calvary kids site? they have a really cool ABC's with scripture and little kid stuff like coloring a picture copying letters, and then some maze or something on the side.. we are using it with 4-7 yr old class. ( kids club)

This could be good for a bible or a letter or tying them in?
The after noon I assume is the video and that sort of thing time?
I kept my home like a preschool when they were small since I was trained and my mind set was on that it worked for us too.
