Are there particular aspects of algebra with which you're especially nervous? I'd be happy to put together a quiz for you just on those specific areas so you can practice over and over.

I've been looking over stuff all day. I take the test at 9:30am tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

Oh wow. So you have little time. Another site we've used is purplemath.com.

Meanwhile, I have an entire algebra course set up specifically for homeschoolers, and it is completely free! There is a help forum that you can post in if you have problems, and I check it every day. I am a retired veterinarian, but I am qualified to teach high school math in Florida and have passed all required exams.

Wow thanks for all the help. Today went really well. Since I actually attended in 2003 I fortunately didn't have to take most of the test. I only had to take the reading and math portion. I tested into Algebra II (WooHoo!) and I passed reading and into English 102.

I will start January 4th and will be taking mostly hybrid classes (1 hour lecture and online work). DD will be able to attend free preschool for free. She will need to attend 25 hours a week and I will be getting a copy of the curriculum so we can work with her teacher and she can help compliment what we are teaching her at home. Because I won't be at school as much as I had originally planned I will be able to continue to homeschool.

Thanks for all your help with the websites guys. You guys are soooo nice here!

    Congratulations!!

You'll probably have to buy a graphing calculator, but if you're working at home a lot MathGV is really helpful because it makes nice big colored graphs. Here is the website: http://www.mathgv.com/. I have some stuff on conic sections that I wrote and illustrated with this program - just send me a PM if you want it.
