We did pysanky eggs today. Well, we tried. They turned our more like batik eggs. We lined all our our eggs up and I took a picture of them and posted it on my blog. The blog post is here http://eclectic-homeschool.blogspot.com/. I did one egg and the boys did two each. It was fun and a nice complement to our study of Ukraine.

My vote is #4. The coloring is more subtle.

I vote for #1. Call me nuts but I think the green part resembles Africa. LOL

I voted for #4 and #5 (2 boys at my house - I let them vote.) Ok soooo to funny...my very first reaction was "Oh my GAWD - look at those eggs those kids made - amazing!" then I read those were the actual example eggs. Hee hee.

But the egss they did make were pretty neat too! A really creative process!

I added up all the votes and it looks like number 2 won. It looks much better in the picture than it did in real life. Egg number one came in second place. I did the number 2 egg and my 5 year old did the number 1 egg.

Thanks for the votes!! If you are in a voting mood you can vote for your favorite menu. Each of my boys put together a menu for our family based off a grocery flyer. You can see both of their menus here http://eclectic-homeschool.blogspot.com/2009/09/menu-planning-activity-choose-your.html
