Does anyone know of any homeschool group sites that are not religion based? I'm just looking for ideas/support....the normal stuff. TIA
Where do you live? Our you looking for local groups or online groups? I know of a few online groups and I run a local group in my area and know of a few in the Central FL area.
I think there's a group in central Ohio, not religious based, but Classical. Classical Conversations, maybe...? I think it MIGHT meet in the Westerville area, but am not sure. I looked. Their website is a bit difficult to understand, but Classical Conversations has a "community" in Westerville, Pataskala, Grove City, and Hilliard.

yep, I agree here is a good one, though there are a few religoins or beliefs mentioned here they vary and we have some great people here some who are not relgious so to speak at all. Just peoples! ( says the lady with the too large letters spouting scriptures hahaah) But seriously stick around a while its not all bad.
Also the WTM there is all kinds of great people over there. Also here. I teach secular and love this site, I also do like the WTM, and the denim jumper.
I will say this site is great for some ideas, and no it's not listed as a religious community...but I clearly have nothing in common with 98% of the members, except I homeschool....I think this is a great community for most individuals, but I'm just not fitting into any category....well, any that can be said out loud lol
LOL...that was funny! I am not really religous and I have visited MANY other homeschool places, the Spot is by far the best as far as middle of the road peeps go. And I have been over to some of the "all secular" boards too, but they are too anti-religion for me. That is why I like this place - a very happy medium and these ladies will discuss anything and remain classy and rational about it, so don't be afraid to bring up secular issues just because no one else is at the time.
1mom04, feel free to stay around as long as you wish! No religious requirement to join, lol!!! Hope you feel welcome anyway!
