Oh My Stars if doesn't rain it pours over here. I was attach by a cat on Sunday the was in heat. darn males always got one thing on there mind. anyway our male inside cat got out I went to pick him up as he is in heat. He bite twice one the right hand, Oh My Stars the pain was bad, worst since child birth. Any we cleaned it up, put meds, ice, heat on it. When I got up Monday moring it was the size of a balloon, called all over for a doctor, as most waits were 8 to 10 hours long, I wasn't going to any of them and end up with the flu. Any found a doctor that seen me gave me meds, a shot sent me home on warm pads. Still swollen and sore today. Girls took up cooking and cleaning,they are so sweet. I can only chicken peck to type so not on long my left hand gets tired. So, I thought if I moved in a box I would be safe. But, my luck the box would link and I would get wet and then a cold. Or the box would have holds in it then I would all those little Texas bugs living with me. hmmmmmmmmmmmmm, what to do. sorry for mistake
Do you have an address for your box? If you do I will send you a get well card. Do take care of yourself. I know those girls can pick up the slack while your down. Do they know how to make those fancy relaxing drinks for their mom, lol.
Kris, I am so sorry to read about what happened to you. Animals sure act strange sometimes. I hope your hand is better soon. Stay out of the box and make the cat live in it instead. Beth

Not to be nit picky when you're having such a bad time, but male cats do not go into heat. They don't have any biological changes rather it's the female cats that do. Like female humans ovulate and menstruate so do female cats. When the females are in heat the males go on the prowl. Best to get your guy neutered...if he's not too old you may be able to curtail his behavior. Also, hope you're up to date on your tetanus shot!! Hope you get better quickly!!
I'm sorry to hear about your hand! I told my dh that we need a shed in the backyard that has electric and heat so when we need to "get away" we can go in there. He laughed and said " with 3 women in the house you can bet I'd be in there more then you so lets put a beer tap in it and a big screen T.V too!!" I think we all need a box of our own every once in awhile!! My thoughts are with you for a speedy recovery and for no more mishaps!
