I just found out that in Hondo, Tx they have a corn maze. Nov 5 is homeschoolers day, so I am planning on taking the girls. I am so excited:D

A day off for me (from all the extra babies that have seemed to gathered at my home) and fun, fun, fun, fun, fun

A homeschool day!!! Maybe I ought to send that info to the corn maize in central Ohio, and tell them we'd like that, too! My kids were suppose to go with the youth group two weeks ago, but the weather was bad. It was postponed until tomorrow, but it's still bad. They'll be disapointed; it's so much fun!

We have a farm about an hours drive away and usually the last weekend in October they have a festival. They are called The Old Baker Farm and it is really great. They have a corn maze, a hay bale maze, a petting zoo, Civil War re-inactment, Indian Villiage, hay rides out to the pumpkin patch where you pick your own, cotton bounce (grated tractor trailer full of cotton), cotton field where you can pick cotton, food vendors, crafters, and live music. We always have a great time, but since Halloween is on the last weekend this time, I don't know if they will have it then or not.

I just checked the "Cotton Pickin' Celebration" will be October 24th & 25th. I forgot they also have a old tractor parade.

Shelby, I think some of us are going to go.
The only thing that will hold us back if the swine flu gets worst or snow. LOL I am funny.

We have one an hour away and on the 30th our homeschool group is going! They have a potatoe sack slide, a small train, pumpkin patch, and a few other things that I can't remember right now,but i'm looking forward to going. We went to one a few years ago and it was alot of fun. I think this one is going to be even better. I hope the weather isn't too chilly for us. :)

I'm going to look up where in the world "Hondo, TX" is too! I'd love to take dd as long as it doesn't have a scary theme etc.

Welp, too far for us ATM. But it looks like fun!
