Wow that is sad Kris. Ive been going a bit overboard around here with handwashing and using sanitizer. Ive also been taking extra vitamin c supplements, drinking lot of citrus juice and water. I've had a sinus headache all week but so far nobody in my family has gotten the flu. Tons of people have been out of school on Sam's dance team and her coach has been out all week - her and her dd6 have the flu.

Were these flu related? Accidents? What happened?

I think the toll here in Alabama is around 13. Several of these were older elementary age children. Very Scary. One of the schools here reported 340 students absent in one day due to flu and other illnesses, this was about a month ago.

    That is very sad.

Wyoming has had 341 cases since May and 2 deaths. They are not stating in the article I read the ages.

Now we are having supply issues with the vaccine. They will distribute the vaccine first to health care workers, then to people in emergency services, and finally, to the public. Once they let the public have it they are doing it in this; order pregnant women, caregivers of infants under 6 months of age, people between the ages of 6 months and 24 years and those with underlying health conditions, then the rest of us.
