Take a look at Baby Smash. I thought this was a great idea! My baby is always wanting to play on the keyboard.
It looks like something that has been around a while. I used it (or something similar) with my Special Needs kids. But as far as babies go, I'm not sure I like the idea of teaching them to "pound" on the keyboard, no more than I like letting them bang away on a piano!
I'd have to agree with this. I do have special things that my toddlers can do on the computer, but they are designed to teach rather than encourage random banging. We have the Easy Link system and we have the Crayola Keyboard. Both protect our equipment but still encourage the proper use of a computer.
