I have heard comments or been asked questions about homeschooling being borning. I heard this from my mom...who supports homeschooling but wonders if a classroom would be more exciting to the kids. I suppose, but there is a certain from of exciting I don't need in my kid's lives. lol. One of my dd's friends at church wondered, innocently..it was just a question, if homeschooling was borning. Well...here's my answers to that. I hope you enjoy my blog post!
Oh, how lovely!!! (Though that little one in the purple coat CAN'T be yours! She's too old; your littlest one is just a babe in arms!!! My, they grow fast!!!)
That was awesome!! Incredible pictures - seriously!!! So - did any paint get on paper? Or was it all on her jacket? That is SUCH a cute picture and one to save for a wedding day...
That's one of the things I love about Ohio! We really do have three distinct seasons, and I love each one (at least, until I get tired of it and am ready for the next season to come, lol!)
I think I'm chucking my lesson plan for tomorrow and taking the boys to the nature center. Thank you, I needed that.
Fall is the best! I toy with moving somewhere warm..but then fall rolls around and I chanage my mind. Jackie...maybe next Ohio Meet up...we can meet where I took those pictures! It's a great place and not too far from the zoo.
Where did you take them? I'd love for us to meet up in Toledo! Maybe then our boys would actually be pen-pals for real, if they actually KNEW each other first! I'll be up in Bowling Green this weekend. The campus ministry I belonged to and still support is having its annual meeting/dinner, and the speaker is the campus minister from when I was there.
I took them at the Toledo Botonical Gardens. It's a beautiful place...especially in spring and fall. I'm thinking spring maybe best since the weather would be nicer for other activities. I'm going to have to put some thought into this!
I am more than willing to travel up to Toledo! That's where I wanted to do it this fall, but you didn't think you'd be able to come anyway, and everyone else seemed to like central Ohio. But I really don't think it will matter to most people.
