Hmm... interesting. I don't know of one, but I'd be interested in finding one as well!

www.teenhomeschoolhang.org P.H.'s daughter was a member there, and she posted it a while back. Rachael is a member, though I don't think she gets on as much (since she's been facebooking, lol!) You have to be a teen to join.

There was a company exhibiting at the big homeschool expo in Atlanta that does exactly this. They market themselves as Facebook for homeschoolers. I've lost their advertising blurb, but I remember mentioning them before.

PS - Found the earlier reference. The company can be found at www.fusefly.com. I know nothing about them, so please don't take this message as a recommendation.

Steve, I think I looked at fusefly once, and if I'm correct in that is the one I looked at I wasn't quite impressed with it. Now, I may be wrong, and it may not have been the one I looked at, but the name is very familliar to me.

fusefly is for homeschoolers but you have to be 13 in order to join and also parents can join also. I am a member but there isn't many parents that actually post on there. I thought it was pretty neat myself. They have groups and forums plus a chat for parents and one for students.

The Homeschool Lounge has a children's forum, but there is a fee.

I have made my kids a board of their own, it's really easy and simple to find a free server. I think they've had theirs about 3 years but rarely use it anymore because they can't get anyone to go on there and post as well.

I like that idea, what great way for them to interact with a safe, small group of people we "know."
