Hello! I have two daughters ages 5 and 3 months. I just started homeschooling my oldest in September. I know in my heart I've made the right decision to hs but there are days I seem so lost and don't know what I'm doing or if I'm doing it right. I know she's only in kindergarten but I'm so afraid of screwing up. There are so many different ways of homeschooling and different curriculums. How am I suppose to know which one is right for us? It all seems so overwhelming right now. I'm hoping to find support and encouragement and not to feel so alone on this new journey.
Welcome to the spot! You are never alone here. We are a great bunch of homeschooling moms and dad. Don't worry about screwing up kindergarten, relax and enjoy it. Remember we are all here for you.
Welcome! I am rather new to this forum and have found it a really great place! I know you will find strength and help here! While I am new to the forum, I am a veteran homeschooler just getting "back into" it with my grandson. Wishing you all the best! As long as you are dedicated, the rest will come!
Welcome! I'm still doing pre-k work, but I know what you mean about messing up. You will find lots of great advice on here!
Welcome tothe homeschoolspot. Hang in there. It will get better. I have hsed my girl from pre-k and she is currently in 6th. I loved the kindergarten days so have fun with the little ones they grow up toooooo quick.
Welcome! I think the first year or so is one of finding your footing. I struggled my first year trying to find a way to meet my son's needs and it took me almost a year to get a handle on things. We are well on our way now and homeschooling the second is much easier. Give yourself time to figure things out and enjoy the journey. Experiment with different types of styles to see what fits you and your daughter the best.
