Hi from Southern Ontario

    Hi there. I just stumbled upon (literally - using the Stumble add on in Firefox) your forum. I'm a homeschool mom of two. The Little Mister just turned 5 and Little Miss is 2. We're not using any particular curriculum at this point. Our son reads at a grade 2 level or so, and enjoys math as well, so we're taking a very relaxed approach with him, letting him lead and direct his learning at this point.

    I'm really better with Q&A, so feel free to ask me anything.

    Hello :),

    I'm in BC and don't hs yet... my oldest is 4. I visit this forum to educate myself. I have learnt a lot from these ladies. I'll be hs for real next September... glad to see another Canadian join :).

    All of my dad's relatives are in Southern Ont. He was born on the Manitoulin.

    Welcome! Glad to see another new person. Your approach with your son sounds wonderful for him. I used that approach early on with my ds. He is now 13 and I wish I had kept it fun and adventurous for him like that. We are beginning a more relaxed approach right now and he is thriving again. Looking forward to getting to know you better.
