On Saturday was the Candlelighter's party for my kids (Candle lighters helps children (and the families) that have or have survived cancer) anyway they mail out "wish lists" for each of the kids to pick a gift for $25 or under. I did not tell the kids what I put on the list so they would be surprized:lol:, -------- not to mention that when they send out the list request its in early November which is right after 3 of the kids' birthdays and I knew what they didn't get but still wanted. Anyway both of my boys got NERF DART guns, Donald got the big raider gun and Malcolm got the dart tag. .......... all the kids have been having a lot of fun with them. My husband and I got a chance to get away by ourselves to get a few gifts from us. we wanted to get the refills for the dart guns. and a lady and her daughter were looking at the same dart gun donald got, we told her how much he liked it (she was buying for a child at her church that they had on an angel tree)-- I had a $5 coupon for the refills with the purchase of any of the Nerf guns and I gave it to her, she felt like that was the nicest thing anyone had ever done. :wink: PS: you can get that $5 coupon in the Happy Meal toys at McDonald's Anybody else getting these things for their kids this year?
Phillip LOVES nerf guns, etc.! He and Carl run around the house in the dark when us gals are gone, shooting each other. He will be getting additional ammo in his stocking. He got a real "Red Ryder BB Gun" for his birthday on Saturday; he's down the basement at our "shooting range " with it right now; hope he doesn't "shoot his eye out", lol! My girls have been begging for the dart gun. They play with one at their friends house whenever they go. I think I'm going to use the money we get from their great grandma to pick a couple up.
Kris, when we were married, Super Soakers were fairly new. Ask Marylyn!!! She'll tell you I had one packed to take on my honeymoon. And I THINK she knew that Carl had packed one, too. Both of us did it without the other knowing.... (Oh, MINE WAS BIGGER, LOL!!!).
My ds13 is getting a super shooter Tommy gun style one for Christmas! Ho ho ho and pass the nerf ammunition! :9
