The plan is to go to Mall of America for sure and my girls are both bringing the AG dolls along! I honestly didn't know they had an AG store there. The dolls just always come on trips with us. They will love that! We are also supposed to go to some park to ice skate but i can't remember the name of the park and to some german restaurant but darn it I apparenlty deleted the emails I had with the names of places he sent me!
Oh my GOSH!!! I can't handle cold at ALL!! Yesterday a friend of mine talked me into taking the kids to the park and I FROZE. It was 45 degrees outside with the wind blowing the windchill was near 35.. We ended up staying for under an hour and my kids were complaining that they couldn't feel their fingers. LOL.. I can't imagine taking a walk in 19 degree weather without a HEAVY coat.. I'm such a baby.
MonkeyMamma~ Your girls will totally love the store. It is pretty new and is 2floors with a hairsalon for the dolls and a resteraunt. The store is always packed and long lines. It always amazes us, you would never know we are in a recession with how much money people spend when they are there. It's sad that they are getting rid of Kirsten, luckly we have her and some of the stuff. Have fun and enjoy our cold!!! Brrrrrr...
My dd6 has a just like me doll and my dd13 has a just like me and a Samantha. We were lucky to get Samantha last year for Christmas right before they went on backorder because my dd13's name is Samantha. Dd6 wants Ruthie but we can not afford a gift like that this year. Maybe my mom will get it for her bday or something. They are going to be so excited when I tell them about the store! So how are the interstates in Iowa? Anyone know? We gotta take I35 from Dallas up through Kansas, into Missouri and up through Iowa. Dh is worried. We are from Texas though so I can't blame him. Much.
We had snow earlier this week, and where I live snow is a rarity at best. It was fun while it lasted but I was excited for the rain that came yesterday and warmed it up around here.
Hi again~ That is awesome to hear your Dd got a samantha doll. I'm looking forward to seeing what new doll they will have in store for next year. The supervisor there is awesome. My Dd has had alot of health issues and we had taken her there to get her Kit's Treehouse (we only spent $50 due to gift cards). Anyways, we were talking to the one gal supervisor and telling her how she had just did so well at one of her horrible dr. appointments and we were rewarding her with the treehouse. She says she will be right back. All of a sudden, she comes back with a gift all wrapped up and told my Dd how proud of her she was and gave it too her. It was a little outfit for her doll. I was so blown away by her generousity! Anyways, I just wanted to share this with you. Bye and have fun!!
