Woooah! I can't get over how many people are still here and how many new ones are here too!!! I'm so excited!! Okay...brief summary (kris...sit back...you already know EVERYTHING) ~husband cheated on me and left me with no money and no home ~rapidly had to find a (horrible) job...not much time for homeschooling, ALMOST gave in and sent her to public school. ~cried every single day I had to leave my kids ~got behind on my medication and suffered a deep bout of depression, to the point of being suicidal ~got back ON medication and felt much better ~met the most amazing man in the world ~got engaged! ~now moving in with him ~he supports my homeschooling and thinks it best that i stay home with my kids...yippie!!! ~quit the horrible job, but still browsing odds and ends things to do for extra money...suggestions? So..phew...there you have it. All of that in just a little less than a year! I am with THE MOST amazing man i have ever met and i feel almost cheated that i'm just now meeting him, but...better late than never eh? Okaay...i do have a question in this rambling of mine: ~I did get pretty behind on maryjane's schooling. She is technically in 3rd grade but...i'm serious...we are BEHIND. I'm using Christian light for her this year and looking at all the workbooks she still has to go through is daunting to say the least.
Welcom back, and what a whirlwind! I think you should just plug along, if she gets soemthing really good, go on to the next thing. We got behind one year and thats how we did it, course I waited till the summer, but if you are using the booklets like the life pak ones are then you will find which things are review and can test out of those ones.
I don't know anything about your new man, but I like him already: He's wearing a Steeler's shirt in one of the pics on your blog I would second the 'plug away' suggestion. Just the fact that your HSing means she'll get caught up.
Hi! I don't know you...but welcome back....and I 2nd what Amie said....if he's wearing a Steelers shirt, I love him too lol
Welcome back, I don't have personal experience on this one but I'd just keep going with the booklets and if you get to a section that she really seems to understand well then move on even if it's not completed, just keep going till she's all caught up it won't take long! and I too agree...if he's got the Steelers then I like him also! (so wish i was back home)
Welcome back. I look forward to your interaction. Recommendation - Proceed cautiously with your new sweetheart. No need to move too fast and find out later that the second one is too much like the first one. I know it's none of my business, but you and your children deserve lasting happiness. Best wishes!
Hey, girl I am glad you are back, we sure miss you around here. Sounds like things are looking better. Keep smile and keep that head up you are a smart wonderful women.
