Prayers for my mom again....

For those of you who do not know or who may not remember, my mom has breast cancer. She has been in IV chemo, the chemo pill and recently took a break from all of it. Her doctor told her that was fine because her cancer is very slow growing. This is a return of a breast cancer. It showed up in a PET scan but not a CAT scan when it was first detected..well now it does show up on a CAT. However, the size is so small the doc said that many people are walking around with cancer this small and don't even know it. Charming thought.

Anyway, she had a tumor marker in March of 09. She just had another done and it rose 300 points (66 in 3/09 and 366 now..honestly I am clueless to what this means)...which shows progression. She is just devestated. She says again how she should just have died when she was first diagnosed. She may have to go on IV chemo again....that is if she will...she says she will do nothing if the CAT scan reveals growth.

Anyway, please pray for healing if the Lord allows but also for her strength.

I don't know what all of the numbers mean but I will be praying for strength and healing for your mother. Praying for you all to find peace during this scary time.

Praying for your mom and you. It must be very hard for her to have to go through this again. Praying for the Lord to give her comfort during this time.

 

Also praying for your Mom. I am so sorry to hear that she has had to go through having breast cancer. It must have been very difficult the first time, causing her to be scared about it this time. Praying for her to be comforted and have peace of mind and for healing.

Cancer becomes an unwelcome visitor in your home and it's physical and emotional effects never go away. It affects not only the patient, but everyone in your inner circle.
I'm a cancer survivor - still dealing with all of the physical and emotional effects of the treatment that has kept me alive.

Thank you alll! My mom seems to be very tired and a bit worried. However, she is doing well, no doubt thanks to your prayers! She came up today and laughed and played with the kids.
