Daniel is getting quite a collection of patches and pins from different activites he participates in. Any thoughts on how to display them? I'm hoping for something creative, but boyish, other than the standard jean jacket idea. Any suggestions?
He could put them on several caps, and hang them on his wall. I use to put my pins/patches on a backpack (bookbag). Or you could even make a type of patchwork quilt to hang on the wall that he could put them on, maybe out of denim.
What about a banner? He could choose a fabric he likes and some rope and a wooden dowel rod put it together and put the patches on that?
what about a stuffed T-shiert pillow? One for pins and one for paches. here's how to make one http://pbskids.org/zoom/activities/do/tshirtpillow.html
Why not do a scrapbook with pictures of him being presented with the pictures or patches if you have them (the pictures) because it doesn't sound like he wears them but does treasure them.
well it depends does he want to wear them and show everyone or is it something he just wants in his room. If his room a shadow box are wonderful. Like Rebekah said forth up.
Ok, no more ideas please! I expected to get good ideas, just not this many of them. Now I really don't know what to do lol. I'll leave it up to him, that makes my life easier. And whatever he picks he can make himself, that will make it even easier yet!
I am glad you do not want anymore ideas because I can't come up with anything better than what has been suggested!LOL I second all the above!
Well, if he has the pins on a pillow or banner or something, he can always unpin what he wants to wear, and then return it when he's done.
