Not really sure where the best place to ask this is, and I'm not really sure anybody will even know the answer, but on the off chance someone does, I'm going ask When I was 10-12yrs old I did a workbook style bible study with my Mom. She did the adult version and I did the kid's. All we can remember is that it had "Adventure" in the title. I LOVED it as a kid and think DD would too. I don't know if it even still exists, but if it does, I'd love to find it for her. Mom thinks it's something she ordered off a radio show maybe? This would have been in the early 90's. Anybody have a clue what I'm talking about and/or remember what it was called??? I just had a thought..... 90 Day Bible Adventure?? Something along those lines?
did you check the CBD.com site? it actually sounds familiar to me and I did nnot grow up in a christian home
Just found it online....that's what it is. Unfortunately, the materials are not available to individuals....only to churches and church groups
What exactly are you looking for? A particular topic, or just something that can be done by adults and children at the same time? If so, look into a series called the "Amplified Bible Curriculum". It's also something designed for churches, but it can be used by families. The ABC curriculum goes from Genesis to Revelation in 3 years with PreK thru Adult on their own level studying the same material at the same time. You can find a 3 year workbook series for adults here http://www.padfield.com/downloads/amplified.html or you can use a 4 year series for children here http://www.bibleclassbooks.com/bible-curriculum.html. Either can be adapted for all ages. Oh, and the two links I gave you are FREE. Just download or print them.
I was just looking for a fun workbook type bible/spiritual thing for DD to do and remembered LOVING that one when I was younger.
I don't know about an older curriculum, but Explorer's Bible curricula has workbook stuff that does what you're mentioning---- an adult version, youth version, older elementary version---- all of the same study.
I'm not as concerned about an coinciding adult version, I was just using that info in hopes that would trip somebody's memory This wasn't as much a bible study as it was exactly what it said....a spiritual adventure. I loved it because it was real life applications.
