Hi everyone! I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm a stay at home mom to two girls ages 5 and 2. We're just starting Kindergarten and very exciting! My nephew has been homeschooling for 3 years using Calvert and we really liked everything that Calvert had, especially how simple and organized it is. (I need that in all areas of my life ) So that is where we are starting but we're adding in spanish, cooking, gardening, sewing and other home ec. projects. We live in Texas so I hear we're in a great state for Homeschooling and we have a really great support system. Five of my friends and my sister (who is my best friend) all homeschool their kids and meet regularly. We're really excited about getting started and hope this enthusiasm gets us through the times I want to pull my hair out!! (I'm anticipating a few of those) So I know I will have tons of questions and can't wait to get to know everyone!! Thanks!!
Thanks, we're out in Forney now but we were in East Texas (Big Sandy/Holly Lake area). That's where all our family is!
