and it was sooo pretty flying into Japan! The mountains from above was awsome even if it was a bit overcast. Too bad you are not suppose to take pics during the landing phase of the flight. We are still getting adjusted to the time change and I will not be able to hit the books until May or June. There is a used curriculum sale this weekend and hope to connect with some other homeschoolers. Too bad I cannot get to my books since I have some I could try to sale. There is always next year. Off to finish supper, night everyone
I wish you had been able to make pictures. It sounds like it was beautiful. I would love to see pictures from Japan when you get a chance. Glad you are there safely. Enjoy your new home. Beth
Glad you have arrived safely. DH was stationed in Japan for a time while we were still dating, he really enjoyed it and keeps saying that someday he hopes to take us there as a family to see the sights. I hope you enjoy your new home!
Welcome to your new home! Hope you enjoy the nice weather we've been enjoying. You're arriving at a good time. Spring, and cherry blossom season, are almost here! With your mention of the curriculum fair, I'm guessing we're at the same place. The homeschool group here is great!
def got the camera going but still havn't downloaded to my laptop. We are taking the train today to check out a house! Been here less than a week and have been offered a 4 br/2b single story stand alone house. It's about a hour a way from the base but less than a hour from all the out in town fun stuff (so I havebeen told). The house is older and it's near a preschool but that is okay. I will have my own home soon and Ms. Kitty can come out of the kennel, she don't like it there poor fur baby. There is a Japaneses sub and my son loves it, I guess carriers are not as impressive anymore. subs can go underwater and that is way cooler to a six year old.
