Thanks, crazymamma. We've added the owls to watch along with the hummingbirds we are already watching.

Oh cool.....I just realized the second link is for hummingbirds. I don't think it's the same one that we are watching.

I can't wait for daylight to hit the hummingbird nest.. last night a lizzard approached while an egg was hatching, mama flew away with the hatching egg, came back a few times to the other egg (there were 2), but then about 7:30 my time she left and hadn't come back at 9ish. :(

I checked in on Molly the owl at 2am when I was sending hubby off to work.. seems that male owls are quite like human males.. he brought her dinner, expected something in return and then took off. He couldn't have had better timing.. even hubby got a laugh (that is how we started out ;) ).

LOL.. T-mom.. we just watched her eat the back half of a bunny.. as not nice as it is, it's nature and the kids definately understand that she needs to eat just like we do. I guess living on a beef farm makes the kids a bit more open to the fact of where our food comes from.

DARN!!! We came on, just to see it take the inners out of a mouse. I didn't think to turn up the volume to hear the "crunchings and munchings"!
