For the past two weeks, I have been keeping you all updated on the ups and downs of our beloved Nana's illness. It is with a heavy heart that I tell you Nana passed away this morning. As expectected my children are inconsolable. My husband is ok at the moment. I think he is in a bit of shock and it hasn't really hit him yet. Please continue to pray for our family. Praying for you and yours. Faythe was six when a good friend of hers died unexpectedly in a car crash. One thing that helped was telling her that, just as she was sitting on my lap and I was hugging her, Danielle was in heaven sitting on Jesus' lap and He was giving her a big hug. A few days later when Phillip said something about Danielle being dead, Faythe "corrected" him: Her BODY is dead, but her SPIRIT is still living with Jesus!
I will be praying for you through out the next few weeks. I have recently lost a few people close to me and I know how hard is on children. I will pray that God's peace rests in your home.
Thank you all for your prayers. Even though we know Nana is in a better place and is now free from pain, the loss is still painful. I'm really concerned for my youngest.
