I would like to customize my HS blog I have a found a few sites within my price range online but wanted to see if there were any WAHM's on here who might be able to do it before I go with someone I don't "know". If you can do it I would love to see your portfolio or any examples you have up!
I am getting a new blog right now! The lady doing mine is TERRIFIC! She's Stephanie from Dirt and Lace Designs. http://www.dirtandlacedesigns.com/ I am not into the scrapbooking look...so don't let that scare you off is you are not either. She tends to have a lot of those on her portfolio. She is super nice, super fast, and super reasonable. Can you tell I'm happy? She does a blog for $40-$60. I had a bad experience with April Showers Blog Design. She is good at designing but slammed and unreliable. In fact, she never finished and I had to scrap the html and redo it myself. anyway, my blog by Dirt and Lace is not completed yet...but will be in a few days or I would show it to you. My blog is something I did on my own: http://www.underthegoldenappletree.com. I used a free template and then made my own header and button. I am going to make sidebar labels as well...when I get a minute or two.
I can't recommend anyone either. I got my free background online but I created the header myself. I use PSP Pro PhotoX2 to create what I need for my blog. I am planning to create my own background once I learn more. I will be adding a navigation bar later.
Thanks everyone! Ava- I loved her site! They were a bit more busy that I was looking for but those are great. I ended up chosing http://www.simplywhimsydesigns.com/ I dont have the time and honestly the desire to mess with doing it myself. I could if I wanted to but I dont want to LOL.
