I know what you mean. I never got the free snuggie or the frog dissecting thing. Oh well, I guess we'll see what happens. The problem is it says they will ship some time in the summer, I'll probably have forgotten about it by then.

Well the snuggie was a scam.. I figured that one out. The frog one I didn't get, I signed up pretty early on and nope nothing. I signed up once for a Rescue Heroes unit thing and nope didn't get that either. Oh well. Maybe some day I will win the freebie lottery.

Hi I tried to do this again today and it finally let me submit my info so for anybody that was having trouble getting entered it is working now. Not sure what has changed but it went thru with no problems.

I'm guessing it's the same one they are showing on TV. I'm DVRing it in case I don't get the DVD.

I wanted to share this review that came through a local hs group. To some, it won't matter, but it may change some minds about using the DVD. At least watch it before you let your kids watch it! (Scroll down some until you see Reader Review.)

 

Thanks for posting that link. I will definitely be watching with my kids (they are older and we can point out false info and political correctness together)....maybe it will end up being part of our Christian World View studies rather than history.

 

I rather like the graphics the show uses. We always seem to miss the show, so I've only seen the first episode. It looked neat to me.

 

I didn't see anything in that 2nd person review that would deter me from watching it with my children. The only (gulp) taboo-ish thing I saw there was possibly the mention of someone being gay. My gosh, how dare they say something like that?? Really, come on.. there are people of all walks of life in this world, and if there weren't can you imagine how boring and plain this world would be? We should be exposing our children to other peoples ways of life, how can we expect them to grow into their own persons if we are forever telling them that they have to do things this way and only our own way is right?
