Today the ups/fedex man got his workout! They delivered my boxes, 6 of them! I am still missing a box or two, but they'll be arriving shortly. All of our math came. Saxon math 2 with manipulative kit (all I can say is WOW! what a TM!), the boys were so excited they wanted to do some right away...so I let them separate their flash cards and put them in a zipper bag. Our science came minus one extra student book that's coming in a seperate shipment, Considering God's Creation, it looks promising and fun! Our Artpacs came Saturday by mail and the boys looked through it and begged to do a lesson, so I told them we'd do one tomorrow with daddy. DS5's new bible came and he couldn't wait to sit down and read it, so he's curled up on his bed reading scripture! Half of our reading/phonics came, and our children's hymnal and cd's came. Hopefully in the next couple of days I'll have the rest of the curriculum and can make out a couple weeks of lesson plans and we can get started. Both boys are super excited, which makes for a happy mama!

I'm still waiting on my history, the rest of the reading/phonics, and the second science student book. I highly dislike when a company breaks up and order into three shipments from three different carriers :( . It makes for too much waiting, and for children who wonder "where's my book?"

Anyway I just wanted to share my box excitement! I love getting boxes, though I think our UPS and Fedex guys would have prefered if it would have come separate days.

We've not got near that much, and I get excited! (But we've been homeschooling long enough that the kids don't, lol! They realize that those boxes mean WORK!) I've gotten history for next year...Notgrass American History for Rachael, and Around the World in 180 Days for my other two. I only have one workbook, though. So the question is, do I buy a second one, or just copy the pages I want out of the first? I also have Rachael's Physics for next year, but need to buy a Test/Answer book.

I love box days and so do my kids. Isn't it fun when the kids love learning so much that they are excited for new books of any kind.?
