Hi! I've been looking for a homeschool forum for a while! I'm so glad I found you guys! I'm 26 years old, mom of 2, wife of 1 (haha)...My oldest son Dylan went to public school for kindergarten and we thought it was awful, so we decided homeschooling would work best for our family. He was with A Beka for first grade and I felt that he was suffering from worksheet burnout with over half a school year left to go, so now that he will be entering 2nd grade, we are once again switching things up! He is registered with Home Life Academy here in Tennessee. I've heard some great things, and some not so great things about them, but since they are basically just our record keeper and have little to do with the actual education my son will be getting, I'm okay with out decision! I also have a 4 month old who will be starting tiny tot school is July! He is registered for sign language classes at our local library as well as a mommy and me class. I don't know how well all of that will work out...but we shall see! I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone! Have a great day!

Welcome! I'm new too. We also sent our oldest to public (prek-k) and he is finishing up the year and then it's homeschool!
Welcome! We lived in Corinth, MS for 6 years. Jackson was the "big city" unless we wanted to drive all the way to Memphis. We've been homeschooling for almost 6 years and have made changes every year ~ it's pretty common. Have fun!
welcome to the forum. we hs a 9 and a 7 yr old. what I love about the forum is the wide range of ages and learning styles of the families here. there's always good advice and ideas.
