Ok, call me weird, but I prefer to shop online. Does anyone know where I can find discount, children's books online (that won't cost me an arm and a leg for shipping)?

    Thanks so much!

bookcloseouts.com has some good ones, I also get great deals at amazon.com othen than that just shop at the book store sites in the clearance section.

www.heartsathomestore.com is a site where I sell homeschool curriculum and books for discounted prices. If you want a book not on my site I may still be able to offer it at a good discount, just let me know the ISBN.

I would buy everything (I mean everything) online if our budget allowed it- I hate shopping.

I always try paperbackswap first before purchasing anything-it's an awesome sight
then I try www.addall.com- it searches several book sites for you for the cheapest price...it's not all inclusive so you don't always find the cheapest price there

    then I try vegsource.com, ebay, half.com, homeschoolclassifieds.com, overstock.com and don't forget your local craigslist.

There is a really active yahoo homeschool group that I know of...it's called 1001books.

In my experience the best price is almost always amazon -it just depends on how popular , or new the book is.

-another thing I do is use my swagbucks toolbar to get swagbucks to get a $5 amazon card which can cover the cost of a really cheap book- have done this a lot
