All of the sudden my ds age 2.5 is pottying for me. Weird. Yesterday, he started pulling his diaper off every time he wet, so I began to ask him about the potty and he's doing well! I'm sure we'll have some regression after the new wears off, besides that he is still pretty young for this, but it is exciting. He is my fourth and last baby (can't you tell I am so excited that the end of diapers is in sight!) and my only boy. The whole boy thing really had me freaked out, but maybe potty training him won't be as awful as I expected.

YAY! I was so excited when my oldest ds, now almost 3, started sitting on the potty and going! I can imagine your excitement! I can't wait to feel that kind of excitement when my youngest, 20 months, starts having interest! Congratulations!!!!

YAY! I still laugh everytime my 3 yr old looks shocked and goes,"AH! I have to go pee!!!"

My second son started around 2.5...and he never really went back. So....maybe it'll stick!
    Woo-hoo! Hooray!

I can't wait for the end of diapers.. but I'm not ready for my little guy to grow up either..lol

I have never ever pushed my kids, allowed them to do it on their own, when they were ready... never used those potty seats either, just a stool in front of the toilet for them to get up on. All of the kids have trained themselves about the age of 3, and other than Reagan, none have ever had an accident (Reagan sometimes holds it till he's ready to burst and then can't get his pants down quick enough and pee's his pants :( )

My 4th potty trained herself on her 2nd birthday. She never reverted. Hopefully this will stick with your little guy!

How exciting! It hasn't been very long since my youngest potty trained (he's still not nighttime trained) but after 6 1/2 years of changing diapers every day, I was sooooooo happy. Things only a mother can understand! LOL

I was telling my DH the other day that I have been changing diapers non-stop for 5 1/2 yrs and I was tired of it! Sadly, my ds will only go #1 on the potty b/c he wants an m&m and if I don't mention it then neither does he...and he refuses to even think about the other!
