We have been hsing about a month and I have seen a great improvement on ds. He is happy again. He plays and laughs. Before he was coming home and sleeping all the time. I think he was depressed. He was grumpy and not very nice to anyone. He would throw up to stay home from school and scream and cry all the time. He is like a new child now. I am amazed at the difference in such a little time. I can't remember his last screaming fit. He is excited to get up and only sleeps at night now. I am so glad we decided to hs him.

Awesome! We had a similar experience with dd when she was 8 and ds when he was 5. Dd started to love to learn again. She became interested in everything and had become incredibly self-sufficient in her learning in only a few months at home. Ds would have rage fits when he came out of school if he didn't get his way. He was also always grouchy with little tolerance for anything. All that change when we began homeschooling. It was the answer to everything for us. :D

    :D

    YAY!!

I've been noticing a change in my DS as well. And he's only been out of public school a week now. I imagine it was quite nice as a 6 year old to have all the demands and stress lifted! LOL Heck I'm less stressed since school let out. I don't have to sign something every day, worry about homework getting done, worry about him being stressed and not having free time to be a kid. It's nice for both of us! And that was just kindergarten!!! sad....

Its nice isn't it? To keep your child home and see how happy it makes them :)

The funny thing is that people who do not homeschool often think it would be hard and stressful. We know better! Less stress!!

I know, I've noticed a big differnece in both my daughter since we started HS, my youngest doesn't seem to have stomach aches anymore! In PS school she was always complaining that her stomach hurt. They are both much happier.

Isn't it wonderful? I had the same experience when I pulled my oldest from third grade several years ago. He was like a different child in no time...so much so, that everyone commented on how happy he was.

Homeschooling was definitely the best parenting decision we've ever made!
