Praying! for Bobby especially, and all the sons and daughters in uniform in general... Our young friend Danny is currently in Haiti, sent there to help after the earthquake there. His wife just had a baby girl - he didn't get to come home for the birth, but he did get to hear her first cry on the phone! He's supposed to get home later this summer for a while, then off to Afghanistan.... He's kinda special to us - he's the first student we signed up when we opened our little school. I didn't get to graduate him, because they moved when he was in my 11th grade, and he took his GED when he turned 18. But when he gets a chance he comes by to see us, and when he talks to his mom and dad, he tells them thanks to mean ol' Ms Linda, he learned how to write! and when he was in Korea, they wouldn't let him leave until he had done a presentation on how to write a report! and they keep wanting him to go to classes and stuff, higher education.
